Overview

CareFlow provides a structured clinical follow-up form, note previews, and controls that insert generated sections into the corresponding CareWare documentation fields. This policy explains how the extension handles information.

Information entered by the user

The extension processes information that the user chooses to enter or select in the CareFlow form, including clinical assessment, examination, medical and surgical history, treatment, investigation, and follow-up details.

How information is used

This information is used only to generate clinical note previews, preserve the user's form state, and insert the selected note sections into CareWare at the user's request.

What CareFlow does not do

• CareFlow does not collect user accounts or login credentials.
• CareFlow does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
• CareFlow does not sell, rent, share, or monetize personal data.
• CareFlow does not send clinical data to the developer.

Permissions and site access

CareFlow requests only the access needed to provide its core workflow. It operates on the configured CareWare website at alahsa-web.moh.gov.sa to display its launcher and to insert documentation after a user action.

CareFlow does not include or execute remotely hosted code. The extension's functionality is contained within the installed extension package.

Local storage, retention, and deletion

Form entries and selections are stored locally within the user's Chrome browser so they remain available after CareFlow is closed or reopened. They remain stored until one of the following occurs:

• The user selects Clear Form and confirms the action.
• The user clears the extension's browser storage.
• The user uninstalls the extension.

Information inserted into CareWare is then handled by the CareWare system and is subject to the policies and controls of the user's healthcare organization.

Security and clinical responsibility

CareFlow minimizes data exposure by keeping form data locally and avoiding external data transmission. Users should access CareFlow only on managed devices and networks authorized by their healthcare organization.

CareFlow supports clinical documentation workflows and does not replace professional clinical judgment. Users remain responsible for reviewing generated text before it is entered or saved in CareWare.

CareFlow is an independent productivity tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially endorsed by the Ministry of Health or the CareWare platform.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if CareFlow's functionality or data handling changes. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
